Online / On Class Courses Conditions

- Full payment is required prior to the start of the course.
- Course Material are excluded from the general course fees.
- If students do not attend a scheduled lesson, it cannot be rescheduled, and it will be considered as taken.
- Unity Education Consultancy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session or course due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Students must attend at least 75% of the course and pass the Progress Test in order to receive a free Certificate of Completion at the end or a Letter of Attendance for a sub-level (Extra charges may apply).
- Group sessions cannot be rescheduled by the student.
- Booking for 1 course will be valid for 3 months after payment.
- Booking for 2 courses will be valid for 6 months after payment.
- Booking for 3 or more courses will be valid for 12 months after payment.
- One-to-One (Private) and Duo-Learning (Semi-Private) students must inform at least 24 hours prior to the cancellation or rescheduling of a session otherwise it will be counted as taken.
- Once the online self-study course is activated, there is no refund or credit note for the same. Allow up to 48 hours for the issuance of the license access of your purchased course.
- You may receive occasional updates through email or SMS with pertinent information about courses or offers. Please inform our customer service team in case you would not like to receive these alerts.
- Marketing Campaigns of Special Offers with discounts are applicable on course fees only, payments must be made as per terms and conditions of the campaign and for courses starting on or after the mentioned date.
- Discount cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or special offers.
- Discount does not apply books/material, audio CDs, TESOL Extended, TESOL Online, IELTS Online, Computer Workshops, transportation and certificates.
- Please note that as of 1st January 2018, the fees charged on all goods or services by Unity Services will be subject to VAT as prescribed under the Federal Decree-Law No. (8) Of 2017 on value-added taxes.
REFUND POLICY ( in Class courses only )

- Cancellation in 7 or more days before the start of course = 100% refund of the course fee
- Cancellation in 6 or fewer days before the start of the course = no refund
- Canceling attendance after the start of a group course forfeits the right to claiming any refund or attending a different course
- The course payment will be valid for 6 months. After that, it will be considered as expired.
- Canceling an ongoing One-to-One (Private) or Duo-Learning (Semi-Private) course forfeits the student’s right to claiming any refund. A credit note can be issued, valid for 2 months if the course hasn’t expired yet. It is the student’s responsibility to request and collect the credit note from the institute within 2 months of the start of the course.
- Credit notes or refunds will not be issued for individual sessions missed in a group class, and these hours are not exchangeable for One-to-One (Private) sessions.
- A credit note is not transferable. It can be used for an alternative schedule, course option or a different language or service of the same value.
- If the course is postponed or cancelled by Unity Education Consultancy, it is possible to avail a 100% refund of the course fee.
- Registration fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
- Books and other learning material that are used will not be refunded or exchanged under any circumstances.
- The number of days to process a refund will be 30 working days.
CORPORATE COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

- Full payment or signed agreement is required in advance to confirm the start date and commence the training.
- Groups may not reschedule lessons unless it is with the consensus of all participants and with enough notice.
- At least 24-hour notice must be provided to the coordinator at Unity Services for cancellations or re-scheduling, else the session will be counted as taken.
- If students do not attend a lesson, the session will still be counted as taken.
- Make up lessons won’t be arranged if participants miss any sessions.
- Students must attend at least 75% of the course and pass the Progress Test to receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
- Unity Services reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session or course due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Refund policy applies as per the terms and conditions of the agreed training contract.

Terms & Conditions for the 10% Discount:

- Offer valid upon full payment for a complete Group, One-to-One (Private) and Duo-Learning (Semi-Private) language courses only (minimum 20 hours for One-to-One).
- Offer not valid for Subsidized, Online, Teacher Training and Computer Courses or Workshops.
- Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, or discount.
- Offer not applicable to registration fee, learning material, or mobile phone applications.
- You must present your last course payment receipt, provided it was dated within the previous 6 months, in order to avail the 10% discount.
- The course payment will be valid for 6 months. After that, it will be considered as expired.
- Offer cannot be redeemed for cash.
FOR TESOL/TFL/CELTA

- Full payment is required prior to the commencement of the course, unless in circumstances agreed upon with management. Flexible payment plan available for payment made at the institute.
- No discounts will be issued for any TESOL/TFL/CELTA program unless specified otherwise.
- If candidates do not attend a classroom-based session on the Intensive or Extended program, it cannot be rescheduled and it will be considered as taken.
- Sessions cannot be rescheduled by the student.
- Unity Education Consultancy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session or course due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Course tutors may schedule additional sessions due to demand for teaching practice classes.
- Upon receipt of feedback from the course tutor, candidates will be asked to sign that they have read and accepted all comments and grading.
- Students must complete all assignments and portfolio work in order to be eligible for a passing grade on the course.
- All assignments and portfolio work must be completed and submitted within 21 calendar days of the final session and/or teaching practice demo.
- Candidates may receive occasional updates from Unity Education Consultancy through email or SMS with pertinent information about courses or offers. Please inform administration if you would rather not receive these alerts.
- Extra charges to post the certificate may apply.
- The registration may be cancelled by the candidate by submitting a written notice, refund of fees is based on below:
- The Admin fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
- Cancellation more than 15 days but less than 30 days of starting date, 50% refund of course fees paid, the deposit of AED 1500 is not refundable.
- Cancellation 15 days or less of starting date, no refund.
- Cancellation during the course for exceptional reasons such as health conditions, official documents should be submitted to get refunded. Refund will be calculated based on sessions attended.
