UTM University Technology Malaysia

University  Technology  Malaysia is a premier Malaysian public research-intensive university ranked 187th in the world by QS University rankings. Its medium of instruction is English. It specializes in engineering ( 4 years ), medicine ( 5 years ),  science, and technology. It is located in Skudai, Johor, and has a branch campus in Kuala Lumpur

The main campus is in Skudai (Johor Bahru), which is about 320 KM from Kuala Lumpur. The second is located in Kuala Lumpur Jalan Semarak,  to accommodates diploma students, part-time students (also known as the SPACE program), undergraduate students (Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology), and foreign students taking business courses.

Bachelor Programs

• National Higher School Certificate for Arabic countries  (80 % – 85 % – depending on the country ) in the scientific subjects (Math / Physics / Chemistry)

** All national high school certificates from all Arabic countries should have a foundation Term – or  Bridge – *only at  UTM university is required.

• Advanced Level (A-Level) or American Diploma – no need for foundation term.
• O level – must need foundation year
• Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00.

Master Programs 

• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3 out of 4 or equivalent, in a related field.

PhD programs

• A Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3 out of 4 or equivalent, in a related field. AND
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum CGPA 2.7 out of 4, in a related field, can be accepted.

English Language requirements : 

All international students who are going to apply for UTM are required to have Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) or the test administered by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with the minimum required score below for different levels of study.

A few tips to keep in mind before sending your the required documents:

1. all documents must be scanned by the scanner in color with high resolution. Do not take a photo of your documents by mobile, it will be rejected.

Academic Requirement for admission in UCSI University Malaysia

English Language requirement for admission in UCSI University : All international students who are going to apply for UCSI are required to have Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) or the test administered by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with the minimum required score below for different levels of study

Bachelor Programs    

• high school, secondary school or A-Level with minimum CGPA of 2 out of 4 or Pass
• if you want to apply for engineering program must pass mathematics , physics and chemistry during high school

Master Programs        

• A Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4 or equivalent, in a related field
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2 to 2.5 out of 4 , in a related field can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in relevant field
• NOTE: Only for master of accounting they required Minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4.

PHD programs             

• A Master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.5 out of 4 or equivalent, in a related field
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2 to 2.5 out of 4 , in a related field can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in relevant field
